Note on back-ups
There are many philosophies when it comes to back-ups, but the main goal of it is to make sure your data is safe. This small tool will make calculations of data storage needs a bit easier.
The strategies given are :
-3 saves, on 2 types of storage with 1 off-location
-3 saves, on 2 types of storage with 1 off-location, 1 offline and 0 errors.
-4 saves on 3 types of storage with 2 off-location
Raid options are a bit more tricky, but know that you can sacrifice how little space it needs for speed of recovery. If you are not familiar with Raid levels, I’d strongly advise you to look into it.
